Tom & Alex do their bit for Syria – THE VIDEO

Yesterday we told you how Tom and Alex, from breakfast on triple j, were aiming to complete as many listener suggested challenges this morning. Why ? To raise much needed money to assist with the current humanitarian crisis in Syria.

Their efforts today helped raise over $35,000.

ABC MD Mark Scott ate a chilli live on air, comedian Mark Watson read the weather like the Count from Sesame Street and for a $1000 donation, Bendigo will now be included in the weather report.

Ballard was dared to wear drag for the entire show. He then pledged 20c for each like of the photo evidence on facebook, resulting in a $5,600 donation out of his own pocket.

They also got nude and sang 'I Am Woman'. A video of that and more is below :-
