To Mum with love. Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren celebrate Mother’s Day

Today might be mum’s special day, but Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren got into the Mother’s Day spirit a couple of days early this week, hosting a special lunch at Kiss and Tell in Melbourne’s CBD on Friday.

The event brought together listeners and their mums for a memorable afternoon which included a live performance by Guy Sebastian.

The Breakfast team of Jase Hawkins, Lauren Phillips and Clint Stanaway kicked off the event by welcoming guests, including Lauren’s mum Liz and Clint’s mum Toni. They also acknowledged the mums who couldn’t be there, with Jase sharing a personal tribute to his late mum, Janet.

After lunch was served, Guy took to the stage, opening with an acoustic version of crowd favourite Battle Scars, followed by Before I Go. He closed the se with his latest single Maybe, getting everyone in the room up on their feet.

Jase, Lauren and Clint thanked Guy for the special set, before wrapping the day by wishing all the mums in the room a happy Mother’s Day and thanking them for their continued support.
