Entries open for The Music Network’s 30 Under 30 Awards

Staff Writer

The Music Network is shining the spotlight on Australasia’s youngest and brightest minds in 2020.

This year sees the revival of the TMN 30 Under 30 Awards, for the first time in over a decade, to unearth and showcase young professionals, aged 30 or under.

And there is a clear category for those working in radio to enter.

Young executives in music programming are encouraged to apply, with over ten categories including Media & Journalism.

With a 25-year history of championing new talent and future leaders within the Australian music and media industry, TMN is upping the ante.

The awards will champion those who can demonstrate a genuine contribution to the biz via their current employer or, if self-employed, their business.

“Over six months in the planning, we’re excited to discover and spotlight the young executives that will play an influential role in shaping a healthy, diverse and inclusive future for the local music industry on the world stage,” said TMN’s editor & publisher, Jake Challenor.

Entries are open from now until February 21

You must be aged 30 or under at the time you submit the entry form, which can only be submitted by the applicant, not a third-party or employer.

You must also be a citizen of Australian or New Zealand or a permanent resident of either nation.

However, if you are based overseas, you are still eligible if you meet the previous criteria.

A shortlist of candidates will be announced on March 18, before the eventual winners are released on March 8 ahead of an industry mixer later that month.
