UPDATE: Tim Webster confirmed as 2SM’s new breakfast presenter

Tim Webster is in the 2SM Breakfast chair this week, following Ron Wilson’s abrupt departure.

Wilson revealed on social media last week that after six months, his stint on 2SM had come to an end.

Wilson joined the Super Radio Network after a decade with Smooth FM.

But as he explained to the Daily Telegraph (subscription required), he wasn’t quite what they were looking for.

“So we decided that it is probably best we leave it where it is for the time being and we will both go on our merry way.”

A permanent replacement for the Wilson in the Breakfast shift is yet to be announced.
