Tim Lane re-signs with 3AW for 2023

3AW’s Tim Lane has renewed his contract for another year, which will see him calling AFL matches for 3AW on Saturday and Sunday afternoons for the 2023 season.

Tim Lane said he is delighted to continue the contract for another year.

“I’m delighted to be continuing with 3AW into 2023. After seeing those old fogeys from Geelong celebrating their flag on Mad Monday, I know there’s another year in me,” said Tim.

Stephen Beers, 3AW Station Manager, said, “It is great to have Tim on board again for next season.”

“He is deservedly the best in the business and we look forward to Tim leading the call again.”

Lane began his sports broadcasting career in 1972. Throughout his 50-year career, he has called many sports, including tennis, cricket, athletics and AFL.
