We’ve had a huge reaction to Brad March’s Top Hot New Talent 2015. You can check the original list here.

Now’s the time when some of the future stars put it out there and show their stuff.

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll feature a couple of talent each day from the list with their audio. Once we’ve gone through the whole list we’re going to ask you to vote for who you reckon are the most likely to be stars of the future, and we’ll publish the Top 5 ‘most likely’ as voted by Radio Today readers.

First cabs off the rank are Daniel Gawned and Caitlin McCormack – hear them below.

Daniel Gawned 

Daniel hosts two weekend shows on Nova 106.9 Brisbane.

• Saturday Breakfast – Browny, Ange & Gawndy
• Sunday Breakfast Show – Bree & Gawndy  (Bree Tomasel)

Daniel also told Radio Today:  “to progress in radio you really need to push the boundaries & step outside your comfort zone a little… I never had any plans to do stand up comedy – but the other I gave it a crack for the VERY FIRST time Just for the challenge!”

Caitlin McCormack

Caitlin is a 2014 AFTRS graduate and recently landed a gig at SEA FM Hobart as Music Director/Afternoons. She was previously on Albury’s StarFM and has also appeared on Joy 94.9 in Melbourne before AFTRS.
