June 13 has been declared AC/DC Day and one network will play acca dacca  24 hours non-stop.

Dedicated to one of the greatest Australian Musical Exports of all time The Rebel Radio Network will play every AC/DC album in full, alongside classic concert performances, exclusive interviews with the band, and the artists and every day Australians they’ve inspired.

The Rebel FM Breakfast Show with Ash & Dave have been the driving force behind this world first, with Dave Holleran, deciding that Acca Dacca deserved a national day of recognition.

“Ash and I were pretty upset they’d taken away the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend Holiday in Queensland, so after researching it, we found out it’s not even the Queen’s Birthday anyway!! Why does the Queen deserve another day?

“What about AC/DC? They deserve national recognition and we deserve a day off. And AC/DC Day was born”

After a groundswell of support from various personalities, politicians, musicians and listeners, management agreed to the momentous occasion, an incredible 24 HOURS of AC/DC ON the Rebel Network of radio stations.
