The Prodcast Episode 10: Season Finale

For the past couple of months, Fox FM’s head of production Dom Evans has been talking with audio producers from around the world for the podcast series ‘Prodcast’.

They’ve shared their passion for what they do in crafting the ‘sonic’ identity of their stations, which plays a major role in distinguishing competing radio brands.

The series has focused on the human aspects of radio production with guests including Staxx Williams (Z100 New York), James Stodd (Celador UK), Chris Thorpe (On The Sly) and Brendan Tacey (Triple M).

In the series finale, Nova’s Brad Leask joins Evans for a return appearance and asks Dom to play some of his work and they discuss how the recent Melbourne’s #1 Hit Music Station package came together.

“I’ve become quite good friends with Brad and think very highly of his work. I couldn’t think of anyone better to debrief Season 1 with me.

“My fellow producers were so generous with their time and sharing what they know. And with over 90-years of combined production experience, there’s a lot that can be learnt from this series to continue to maintain a brilliant quality of radio imaging worldwide.”

Evans is already at work on season 2 of The Prodcast with some top guests lined up to make an appearance.
