The Power 50 oversights

This week SPA and theMusic released their list of the 'Power 50', the 50 most powerful people in the music industry.

Whilst all the people on the list were highly talented, radio was conspicuous by it's lack of entries. In fact, there were only four radio people; Triple J's Chris Scaddan and Richard Kingsmill (pictured), MCM Media's Simon Joyce, and Nova's Grant Smilie (see our earlier story here).

Evidently, others also thought the lack of radio's acknowledgement was unusual. The Music Network has published a list of names who they felt would not have been out of place on the list. Of those people, 12 are in radio, and they are;
