The Jimmy & Nath Show takes over Hit Nights

The Jimmy & Nath Show is officially taking over national Nights on The Hit Network

Broadcasting nationally between 7-10pm, Jimmy Smith and Nath Roye will take the reins from the outgoing Abbie Chatfield, who suddenly announced her departure from radio last week.

The boys are looking forward to turning ‘hot nights’ into ‘mildly adorable’ nights.

“I can only imagine this is what Lizzie McGuire felt like when she stepped out on that stage in Rome,” said Jimmy and Nath.

“Nights of Australia we are coming for ya, we may not be ‘Hot’ but we can ensure ‘mildly adorable and kind of funny Nights with Jimmy & Nath’ will be worth a listen! This Is What Dreams Are Made Of…”

Jimmy and Nath kicked off their radio careers in 2015 and have gone from strength to strength since.

The best mates first found a home on Hobart’s Hit100.9 where they claimed the #1 Breakfast Show in 2021 before moving to Sydney for national Weekend Breakfast in 2022.

The Jimmy & Nath Show then began filling in for Carrie and Tommy and most recently co-hosting Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield.

SCA Chief Content Officer, Dave Cameron, said, “Jimmy and Nath are hugely exciting talent for SCA.”

“We’re so delighted to see the boys continue to grow their national radio career and audiences, now formally taking over the Hit Nights shift nationally.”

“Their hard work, raw talent and ridiculous antics continue to attract and grow a large and loyal listener following, and they will put their own incredible stamp on this important shift for the network.”

The Jimmy & Nath Show is now heard weeknights from 7-10pm across the Hit Network and also on LiSTNR.

Lovely guys but where are the females on hit? I loved hearing Abbie on air and will definitely miss a strong female voice on air

Jimmy and Nath are a class act and true radio talent. This would’ve been the easiest decision for the SCA brass to make all year.

Hopefully this means Mike E & Emma for Hit Weekend Breakfast?

Yes because there’s literally no women in radio at all. Not a single one…. its all men. Every single hit station…just all men. Even reception. Men….just men everywhere. No a single female Announcer…even in commercial radio.
