The Hot Hits have a new host

Early December we told you that Andrew Gunsberg had decided to leave The Hot Hits (see here).

MCM Media have today announced that Maude Garrett will be the new host.

Maude has hosted SCA's Party People and has also appeared on TV shows Weekend Sunrise, Talkin ‘Bout Your Generation, The Morning Show and Can of Worms.

MCM Media's Group Content Director Sam Thompson says:

With direct access to the biggest stars and stories in the entertainment world, The Hot Hits team is focused on breaking the latest news and exclusive stories across radio, online and mobile, and Maude will be in her element delivering this with her unique Australian take.”

Maude says:

“It’s my dream job! I'm able to completely indulge in my love of pop-culture, from music to movies & gossip! Moving to LA to attend premieres, interview the biggest celebrities and talk about my obsession with video games…. somebody pinch me!"

Her first show will air February 3.
