The Christian O’Connell Show launches The Longest Serve

Gold 104.3’s The Christian O’Connell Show is set to serve up an Australian Open spectacle with The Longest Serve competition.

Christian initially started with one simple question: “Could you hit a tennis ball from one side of the Yarra River to the other?”

Now, in partnership with The Australian Open, Christian is giving listeners the chance to prove it can be done.

This Wednesday (24 January), registered listeners will smash, volley, and lob those tennis balls to see who can ace their way to victory by sending the ball soaring the furthest over the Yarra River.

The winning listener will score a Men’s Finals experience – including tickets, merch and behind-the-scenes access – valued at $12,000.

Christian says “What an amazing thing we will be doing with the Australian Open.”

“Jack is genuinely going to be in a speedboat, fishing out any tennis balls that don’t quite make it. Rest assured, none will be left in there!”
