Ash London LIVE! recruits Peking Duk to join Friday program

The Hit Network’s Ash London LIVE! has launched ‘Thank Duk It’s Friday!’, which will feature Peking Duk’s Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles.

The duo will join the program each Friday from 7pm and play an exclusive mega mix to kick off the weekend.

The band and the radio host have a long history.

“It feels like a long time coming,” Hyde said. “We’ve been rocking with Ash for so long, she’s like family to us. It would be wrong for us not to hop on board with this.”

London added: “We have never had anyone come into Ash London LIVE! and join the team for a regular thing, so if it was going to be anyone, it would make sense that it would be Peking Duk.”

Peking Duk has won a National Live Music Award, three APRA Music Awards, an AIR Award and two ARIA Awards. They’ve had hits including 2014’s ‘High’, which peaked at #5 on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified three-times Platinum. 2016’s ‘Stranger’ also peaked at #5 and was five-times Platinum. They’ve amassed 1.5 million ARIA units and over 350 million streams globally.

The segment kicks off this Friday.
