Survivor NZ comes to The Hits NZ

NZME’s The Hits will cover all the action from TVNZ’s Survivor New Zealand with a weekly one-hour radio show starting May 8.

Survivor Radio – hosted by Survivor New Zealand host Matt Chisholm and The Hits Night Show host Estelle Clifford – will air each Monday night from 6pm – 7pm. It will feature in-depth discussions, behind-the-scenes secrets and exclusive chats with evictees as the season progresses.

“I can’t wait to get stuck into Survivor Radio with Estelle and The Hits,” Chisholm said. “It’s the icing on the cake for fans who have watched Survivor New Zealand on TVNZ 2 and OnDemand but are left wanting more.”

For up to 40 grueling days, 16 Kiwis will battle it out for the title of Sole Survivor in the unforgiving jungle climate of Nicaragua.

The Hits content director Todd Campbell highlighted the value of sharing content across multiple entertainment mediums. “Survivor Radio is a great example of radio and television working together to bring listeners and viewers exclusive content,” he said.

“The Hits national footprint allows us bring projects of this scale to radio and we’re excited to partner with TVNZ and bring both fans of the show and loyal Hits listeners together for a shared experience.”
