Spida Ride: From Gladstone to Gold Coast

92.5 Gold FM’s Spida Everitt is making his way to up the Bruce Highway now and from Tuesday he will be on his bike riding from Gladstone in Central Queensland, back to the Gold Coast. That’s around 741k’s for Gold FM’s Give Me 5 for Kids and in just 4 days.

Spida said he has been planning this ride since last year: “For the last couple of years, I’ve ridden a bike around the Gold Coast and then last year I rode a Tuk Tuk to raise the funds. In 2015 I wanted to make my ride bigger and better than ever- I wanted to really push myself. This 741km ride will push me both physically and mentally- and I’m sure I can count on the Gold and Tweed Coast to support me so I can come home!”

They will be following him on his 4 day journey as he rides from Gladstone to Bundaberg, then to Gympie through to Brisbane and finally on the home stretch to the Gold Coast with the target to get $50 for every kilometre  he rides.
