Special programming as SCA joins tributes for National Day of Mourning
SCA is running special tributes today as part of the National Day of Mourning to honour victims of the Bondi Beach terror attack
Triple M will broadcast a one-hour national special from 6pm today, followed by a minute’s silence at 7.01pm.
The special will be hosted by Anthony Maroon and will feature interviews with members of the Jewish community, Bondi locals and witnesses, as well as Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
The Hit Network will run an audio package as a tribute just before 7pm, then will also observe one minute’s silence at 7.01pm. This will be followed by the unifying song I am Australian.
Across the network, Breakfast shows ran their own interviews and tributes this morning, including Nathan Roye on 2DayFM.
Nath revealed an emotional connection in a touching and vulnerable address to both Sydney and a fallen friend.
