Glenn Robbins & Dave O’Neil’s ‘Somehow Related’ hits 1m downloads

One of Nearly Media’s stable of podcasts is celebrating a milestone, as Somehow Related with Dave O’Neil and Glenn Robbins passes 1 million downloads.

The podcast, which launched in April of 2018, sees comedians and media personalities O’Neil and Robbins discusses “two seemingly random topics,” as given to them by robo lady host, Sam.

Then, they must find out how the two are ‘Somehow Related’. Some of the topics so far have been ‘Nazis and Fanta’, ‘JFK and Corsets’, ‘Margaret Thatcher and Soft Serve Ice Cream’ and ‘Charles Darwin and Office Chairs’

“If only we got a dollar for every download,” said O’Neil.

“It’s not that impressive, I’m pretty sure I had an old Volkswagen that did that,” added Robbins.

Listeners have described the show as slow podcasting, enjoying the familiar conversation between the two friends.

The most recent topics that are Somehow Related were ‘Pigs and Paint’.
