Smooth FM Sydney hosts AFTRS radio students

Reporter

Smooth FM has reinforced its commitment to supporting the next generation of radio professionals, hosting nine AFTRS students yesterday at the station’s studios in Pyrmont.

The group – all of whom are studying radio at AFTRS – was given an extensive tour of the studios by Smooth’s Head of Programming Peter Clay.

Bogart Torelli and Ron Wilson talked them through their roles on Smooth Breakfast, with the students asking a wide range of questions about their on-air roles and enduring careers in radio.

Peter Clay says “It’s always a pleasure to give back to radio students. Sharing our knowledge and passion for the industry is incredibly rewarding.”
