Skyfire and Men At Twerk

While there might be fireworks in parliament house in Canberra as an election looms, on the weekend it was hit104.7’s Skyfire with over 100,000 people watching on.

Ahead of the 20 minutes of fireworks, Thirsty Merc and LA’s Hundred Handed; many were there actually to see Men At Twerk, the tradie man band made up of hit104.7 listeners.

The Tradies (and Ryan Jon) were dobbed in by listeners from worksites around the capital.

“We were pretty nervous. Remembering lyrics and dance moves at the same time is surprisingly tricky.

“The boys all had an awesome time together in rehearsals and on stage which is the most important thing. Certainly more important than the quality of vocals on the night”,said Ryan.

Tanya Hennessey was the self-appointed band manager who arranged a singing teacher, a choreographer and even found a lady willing to sew sequins and crystals into the boys Hi vis vests.
