Simon Baggs heads North to Hot Tomato
Simon Baggs has landed a new gig on Drive on the Gold Coast’s #1 station.
Having departed Hit Newcastle last week, Baggs will join Mal & Moyra on Drive, with Galey heading to Breakfast to replace Sean ‘Flan’ Flanagan
Flan recently revealed he won’t return to Hot Tomato in 2020.
“In 2020, we’ll continue to focus on local content and to have Baggs, a great radio talent and Gold Coaster born and bred join the team will strengthen our 100% Gold Coast commitment,” said Hot Tomato CD Brendon ‘Whippy’ Dangar.
“As Gold Coast locals will know, Baggs has worked with Moyra and Galey before and we are excited to give him the opportunity to come home and keep doing what he loves back in the place that means so much to him.”
Baggs says he’s excited to be heading back to the Gold Coast, which will allow him to be closer to family.
