Is Classic Hits breakfast about to be networked ?

The National Business Review in NZ have reported that The Radio Network (TRN) have apparently told about 20 Classic Hits Breakfast staff around the country they are out of a job.

Their source says that TRN will network the Classic Hits breakfast show with the likely hosts being ZM’s breakfast show hosted by Polly Gillespie and Grant Kereama (right).

If this was to occur their replacement at ZM would most probably be Fletch & Vaughan (below) who left rival The Edge late last year and have been seeing out a non-compete.

CEO Jane Hastings said, "There is a lot of speculation externally. TRN believes 100% in local hours, talent and content," but refused to say anything further.
