SEN robbed of gear

Staff Writer

Police are on the hunt for a guy who stole thousands of dollars worth of gear from SEN in Melbourne.

He has been caught on the station’s security cameras making off with TV and video gear, along with phone and recording equipment including microphones.

Police report he gained entry to SEN’s studios in Swan Street, Richmond just after 11:30pm on January 12, through a side door.

He spent 40 minutes in the station removing items one at a time, loading them into a skip and then taking them to a nearby car. All of this whilst SEN staff were in the building.

The man was Caucasian in appearance, aged in his mid-30s, with a scar above his left eyebrow and sleeve tattoo on his left arm. Anyone with info can contact Victoria Police.
