SCA appoints Hobart programmer & national digital execs

Staff Writer

Southern Cross Austereo has appointed Vicki Poupounaki as its new Hobart program manager.

She makes the move from SCA Shepparton, and has previously worked as executive producer on nationally syndicated shows My Generation and The Range with Lee Kernaghan.

Poupounaki’s CV also includes Working Dog’s Santo Sam & Ed’s Sports Fever and Gold FM’s Grubby & Dee Dee.

She will now oversee operations, assist with programming and host a Workday shift on 107.3 Triple M Hobart, with her new role beginning on September 14.

“We are excited to welcome Vicki to our Hobart SCA family as she brings a wealth of music and radio experience to our team,” SCA Tasmania Group CD Phil Bradley said.

SCA has also made two changes to its digital radio content teams at a national level.

Triple M digital content director Adam Williscroft is now set to add the Hit Network’s digital stations to his remit.

He was previously the CD at 2DayFM, and also spent time in programming roles for DMG Radio in Sydney and Brisbane.

In addition, Lindsay Harapa moves into the new role of digital radio music and operations manager.

She has worked at SCA since 2011, and also spent time at Power FM and ARN.

Williscroft and Harapa will look after the content and music for SCA’s digital brands across Hit and Triple M.

Fantastic appointment. Congrats Vicky! This is a great coup for Tassie. Poopy has a brilliant radio mind, and experience to boot. So happy for her.
