Southern Cross Austereo and RCS Sound Software have successfully integrated patented music scheduling platform GSelector and advanced playout system Zetta company-wide.

The integration project took place over the course of two years, during which all SCA metro and regional studios were fitted with Gselector and Zetta.

The project saw 120 individual audio streams affected across 38 SCA markets which collectively deliver more than 20,000 hours of local programming to millions of listeners each week.

SCA head of audio operations Dan Jackson pointed to the strength of the relationship between SCA and RCS as key to the success of the project.

“SCA and RCS have worked together for over 30 years to deliver local radio in the most innovative way to our listeners,” he said.

“The combined capabilities of our committed IT and engineering teams allowed us to efficiently implement GSelector and Zetta right around the country and advance day-to-day operations”.

“Over the past 30 years SCA and RCS have learnt a great deal together and we are thrilled to continue working closely with SCA as the company continues to expand,” added president and CEO of RCS Phillipe Generali.

“Southern Cross Austereo selecting RCS as their vendor of choice for both playout and scheduling is an exciting venture for both companies.

“SCA will become the largest cluster of terrestrial and streaming stations using the hand-in-glove integration Zetta and GSelector provides”.
