Rod Brice: The New CD for SEA and MIX FM

Rod Brice has been appointed Content Director of 919 Sea FM & 92.7 MIX FM on the Sunshine Coast.

Sunshine Coast Broadcasters General Manager John Williams says “It’s quite a coup for us to attract someone of Rod’s experience and calibre to the role. Given 2015 has been our most successful year to date (No. 1 & 2 stations in the market) we look forward to Rod being part of our future leadership team”.

Since departing SCA over two years ago, where he had held Group Content Director and Regional Research and Operations Manager roles,  Rod has been running his own programming, research and consulting business.

Rod Brice said: “I had my first taste of programming back at 4SS in Nambour which evolved into 92.7 MIX FM. I cannot wait to be part of the winning team at 92.7 MIX FM and 919Sea FM. My goal is not just sustainability – it is continued growth of the talent, listeners and business. Given that I have been consulting to both these stations for over 2 years, I know the staff very well and am proud to now work even closer with this team.”

Rod Brice will join the team from Monday October 12th.
