Robin, Terry and Kip’s secondhand wedding

KIIS 97.3’s Robin, Terry and Kip are hosting a different kind of wedding for Brisbane couple Matt and Tash this week with every element of the special day borrowed, donated or pre-loved.

The Stamford Plaza has offered to host the wedding ceremony and reception, with listeners providing Tash’s dress, rings, flowers, hair and make-up and Kip even offering up his own suit for Matt to wear.

Kip said:

“With our wealth of experience planning our own weddings, I suppose this is the next logical step. A combo of Robin’s love of op shopping and my love of not paying for things, you’ve got yourself a perfect storm… I mean, perfect day!”

Robin added:

“Imagine being able to do this for your own wedding. Rather than gifts, ask for friends’ and families’ pre-loved items to make your day perfect – I think this could become a great new, cheap and eco-friendly way to do a wedding!”
