Robin, Kip & Corey take their radio comeback to new heights
KIIS 97.3’s Robin, Kip & Corey literally hit new heights as they made their return to Breakfast radio this morning, broadcasting their first show of 2026 from 15 metres in the air.
During peak-hour traffic, thousands of Brisbane commuters looked up to see the brekky trio hoisted in a cherry picker, live from the city’s biggest billboard above the Inner City Bypass, featuring the show’s new-look marketing.
The stunt marked the trio’s reintroduction to the city, cementing their comeback as one for the history books.

After the shock news that they were being replaced by Craig ‘Lowie’ Low, last month, ARN performed one of Australian radio’s most stunning backflips, confirming it would reinstate the popular Breakfast show that it had axed just a couple of months earlier.
Joining the party today was Robert Irwin – alongside fellow I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here host Julia Morris – adding an extra dash of star power to the morning.
Messages of support flooded in throughout the show, with well-known names including Agro and Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner welcoming the trio back to the airwaves.

Robin Bailey said: “It’s like nothing ever happened! It was our loyal Brisbane listeners who brought us back and we are so grateful to them to be on-air this morning. We want to give all our love and dedication right back to them.”
Kip Wightman added “Corey promised to take the show to new heights this year. As someone who hates heights, I really wasn’t expecting this. Let’s hope the rest of our shows stay on the ground this year!”
Corey Oates said “I had the idea to take the show to new heights this year. So, what better way then taking over a gigantic billboard in Brisbane!”
Cash or Crash returns in 2026, with listeners once again having the chance to win $1,000 every morning at 8am with Robin, Kip & Corey.
Catch Robin, Kip & Corey live from 6am to 10am each weekday. Listen live on Brisbane’s KIIS 97.3, or via the free iHeart App.
