River 94.9’s new toy to help keep up with growth

With River 94.9 in Ipswich already doing over 70 OB's this year, the station have developed a brand new OB setup to keep up with demand.

It's a self-contained truck that is 9 metres long, 3 metres high, has a studio and its own separate stage.

River 94.9 GM David Greenwood says:

"Demand for River 949’s outdoor activities has grown to such an extent that it required of us to build an efficient unit which can just roll up and go ‘live to air’ or present a ‘live presentation’ with ‘no fuss.’

"We have presented over 70 major broadcasts already this year external of the station and this new unit, in its various configurations, will give greater flexibility and enable us to provide even better exposure for our clients utilising the spacious area within the unit for trade displays and presentations whilst broadcasting.

"The increased versatility will create even greater demand. Full credit goes to our Engineer Keith Evans who designed the unit and technical fit-out.”
