Real FM’s Great Pie Challenge

They have voted with their tastebuds and their cash. Real FM’s Mel Heldon from The Morning Juice, set the challenge to the Home Run’s Andrew Andrews in the Great Pie Challenge.

Getting their listeners involved in crafting the gourmet selection, the local baker came to the party. Two weeks  down, Mel’s Lamb Roast Dinner pie sold out first day with Andrew’s Big Greek “Moussaka” pie fighting to gain ground.

Who got to stay on the menu after being announced the biggest seller this morning?

Mel’s creation became the Real FM Birthday Pie as part of the stations 18th birthday celebrations.
