Radio Ratings Survey 4 results 2025 out later this morning

With this survey marking the half way mark for this year, will we see any changes after the results drop.

The main focus will be on ARN – will Kyle and Jackie retain the two city breakfast slot? And what about Gold? After the renaming of WSFM Sydney to Gold, what’s next for the station. It would now be easy to share various programs across both cities on Gold, as ARN has done for KIIS. Could Christian O’Connell be heard in both markets? If so, will Jonesy and Amanda go to a timeslot with more sociable hours, maybe Drive on both stations? The rumour mill is running wild as the survey 4 results are about to become public.

Mike Fitzpatrick, a long term programmer with Triple M, who recently left the ABC due to ill health, has started a Substack column called Noise Hole. In his latest column, he argues that it takes 3-4 years for a new breakfast show to gain traction. “I anchored the last networked breakfast show on commercial radio. I know what it takes, and I know how hard it is,” he says. Read his column here.
