Ruel delivers memorable performance in Nova’s Red Room

Last night (Thursday, July 23), multi-platinum artist Ruel performed to a bumper crowd at Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre in the latest instalment of Nova’s Red Room.

Hundreds of fans had lined up outside and around the corner for hours before the event to secure their place.

Ruel opened the night with Not What’s Going On before launching into fan favourite Younger.

After taking time to chat with the audience, Ruel continued the set with Hate Myself and Faking Smiles, followed by F2F/Destroyer and Wild Guess.

The set continued with Debbie, Don’t Say That and In Your Mind, before a powerful performance of I Can Die Now.

Ruel brought the evening to a memorable close with his hit single Painkiller.

Guests included Nova Network’s Jack Charles, Nova Entertainment’s Director of Programming Brendan Taylor, Nova’s Head of Music Scott Baker-Smith, Nova’s Network Program Director Sarah McGilvray, music industry executives Lena Jones and Hannah Lagudah and music artists Sharon-Rose and Lachie Gill.
