Quarters joins SEN’s AFL Nation line up for 2025

Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) has unveiled its AFL Nation commentary team for the 2025 Premiership season, headlined by the addition of Stephen Quartermain.

‘Quarters,’ a well respected voice in Australian sports media and famous for his “Leo Barry you star!” call in the 2005 AFL Grand Final, will join AFL Nation to broadcast Saturday afternoon games, plus other fixtures throughout the year.

SEN’s premier Thursday night coverage will feature Gerard Whateley and Dwayne Russell, while Friday nights will be led by Russell and Matt Hill.

The play-by-play team will be joined by expert commentators, including Kane Cornes, Gerard Healy, Brad Johnson and former West Coast Eagles Premiership coach Adam Simpson.

Quarters says “I’m looking forward to getting back in the commentary box with the SEN family.  2025 promises to be another intriguing and unpredictable season, so it will be great to be part of it all again.”

AFL Nation is syndicated to more than 60 radio stations across every capital city and throughout regional Australia.
