Part of Canberra’s Radio History

Jim Pilgrim has passed away. Jim is part of Canberra radio’s On-Air history with 2CA in the early 70’s and being the first Drive announcer of 2CC when it launched in 1975.

Jim also appeared on TV as a news and sports presenter in the nation’s capital and went on to become of one Australia’s iconic voice over talents.

Jim passed away after battling a long illness in Brisbane this morning.

Jim’s funeral is this Thursday April 16th from at 2pm at Centenary Memorial Gardens,353 Wacol Station Road Sumner, Queensland.
