Nova’s Fitzy, Wippa and Kate give away two double tickets to Matildas game

This morning, the Nova Breakfast team of Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie gave away two double tickets to tonight’s all-important Matildas game.

Caller Patrick won a double pass for himself and his seven year old daughter.

In a blitz that saw 3,000 calls in two minutes, young kids called up to leave a message for the Matildas, to go in the running to win the other double pass.

The winner was eight year old Zahli.

Matilda Alana Kennedy’s mum Stephanie shared an update ahead of the big game, plus Mel McLaughlin revealed someone she hasn’t spoken to in eight years texted her about tickets.

Hamish Blake crashed the show, pretending to be seven year old Russell from Parramatta to win tickets, and Tones & I revealed the special message the Matildas sent her about the World Cup final.
