Nova’s Chrissie and Jack attend listener’s wedding

A Nova listener’s dream has come true, with Chrissie Swan and her Executive Producer Jack Charles heading to Adelaide at the weekend to take up a special wedding invitation.

Kristie is a long-time Nova listener and was a big fan of the Chrissie, Sam & Browny breakfast show.

In December last year she flew herself to Melbourne to attend their farewell outside broadcast, bringing over bottles of wine for the team.

Now a fan of The Chrissie Swan Show, Kristie called up during the show’s first week on air, inviting Chrissie and Jack to her wedding.

She never expected Chrissie to say yes.

After sending out the invitation, to Kristie’s surprise, Chrissie and Jack announced that they would attend the nuptials, which were held on Saturday.

Chrissie and Jack also attended the reception at Turkey Flat Vineyards in Tanunda and introduced the bride and groom – Kristie & Andrew Nash – to the room.

Chrissie spoke to Kristie again this week, saying “Thanks so much for asking us to your magnificent wedding. We loved it so much.”

Kristie said “We had the best time and you guys were just the icing on the cake.”

“It was just absolutely beautiful. To have you guys there to celebrate with us was so special.”
