Nova signs up for more Laughs
Nova Entertainment has renewed their partnership with the iconic Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
For the ninth consecutive year Nova 100 will provide listeners and clients with unique experiences and highlights from the 30th Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Louise Higgins, NOVA Entertainment Chief Operating Officer said, “Nova and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s partnership is one of our most valued and rewarding relationships. We are honoured to be part of the 30th year of this special festival which is such an important part of Melbourne’s history and culture and reflects the Nova brand and our commitment to creating compelling content.”
Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny will hold their first OB at Melbourne Town Hall from 6am for the first day of the festival. Joining in will be Wil Anderson, Joel Creasey, Nick Cody, Adam Rozenbachs, Nath Valvo, Sammy J & Randy and Bridget Everett.
Nova 100 listeners will have a chance at tickets to a night of Champagne Comedy hosted by comedian Nath Valvo as a dozen comedians will perform at the Town Hall on Saturday April 9.
Throughout the festival, Nova will feature ticket giveaways and will cover the festival extensively on-line with reviews, highlights and videos, pop up comedy and interviews.
NOVA Entertainment will also use the partnership to engage with their agency clients with the return of Nova’s Stand Up School – a one of a kind, day long workshop targeting young rising stars in media agencies. Chrissie, Sam & Browny will host it along with comedians Kate McLennan and Rachel Berger, who will deliver practical insight in a uniquely designed and executed program.
Friday Funnies (but not always on a Friday) will also see Nova 100 roll out intimate and exclusive stand up shows for key agencies and clients throughout April, delivering a unique and comedic take on the standard office drinks.
