Nova balloon makes ‘unscheduled’ landing at school

A couple of days ago, a hot air balloon had to make an emergency landing in the suburbs of Melbourne.

This morning it has happened again in Melbourne's east, this time with the Nova 100 branded hot air balloon (see below).

The balloon was set down on the oval of Xavier College with students coming out to see the sight.

Nova says: "This morning the pilot of a Nova branded balloon, operated by Global Ballooning, made an unscheduled landing on Xavier College oval in Kew. We acknowledge the quick thinking efforts of the balloon’s pilot for locating a space to land safely and are thankful no one was hurt."
