Nova extend partnership with comedy festival

Nova 100 has been a partner of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for 6 years. The station have announced they will continue to support the event for another three years.

GM of Nova 100, Helen Davies, says:

“We are delighted to continue our partnership with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. The caliber of new and established performers is incredible and we are thrilled to be able to give our audience unique festival experiences.”

The comedy festival allows for many content opportunities with daily interviews with comedians, ticket giveaways plus online activity including reviews, highlights and interviews.

This Thursday Hughesy & Kate will hold their 10th annual comedy OB where 15 comedians perform stand-up throughout the breakfast show.

Comedian Nath Valvo (left) will also host 'Nova’s Comedy Festival Side Show' during the festival. It's a 3 hour Friday night show from 10pm.

They will also hold Nova’s ROFL Room at the Trade’s Hall on Thursday 4 April and many pop-up events will also appear throughout the Festival which runs from March 27 to April 21.
