Nova Brisbane to pump up the NRL Grand Final
Nova 106.9 has revealed its plans to pump up the Grand Final with NRL-focused programming this Sunday – including a local show hosted by Nova Brisbane Breakfast anchor Mitch Lewis from 2pm – 6pm in the lead up to kick off.
Nova 106.9 is a Platinum Sponsor of the Brisbane Broncos as well as the Official FM Radio Partner of the club.
Mitch will host the NRL Grand Final Pump up from 2pm on Nova 106.9 – covering all things Broncos and NRL Grand Final with a star-studded line up.
Special guests will include NRLW superstar Tamika Upton, fresh from her second Dally M Player Of The Year award and ahead of co-captaining the Broncos in what will be her milestone 50th career match
Also on the show will be a well-rested Pat Carrigan; the last premiership-winning Broncos captain Darren Lockyer and former skipper – and #1 Hype Man – Alex Glenn, all giving their insight into how (and why) the Broncos can bring home the win.
Ash & Luttsy will feature with their thoughts ahead of the game.
Mitch, who moonlights as the on-field announcer at Suncorp Stadium, says watching the Broncos play is one of his favourite things to do on the planet.
“I love our Bronxnation fans, those that live and breathe the highs AND lows – after such a passionate 2025 season, this Sunday is for them!”
Nova’s Sunday’s lineup all day will reflect the NRL. Lineup below:
9am-11am – Aaron Rich
11am – 2pm – Adam Price
2pm-6pm – Mitch Lewis
Ash, Luttsy & Nikki Osborne can be heard from 6am to 9am on Nova 106.9 in Brisbane. Listeners can stream the show live or catch up with the daily podcast by downloading the Nova Player.
