Nova’s Slip N’ Slide ‘faster than Usain Bolt’

After much preparation, Nova 106.9's Ash, Kip & Luttsy have held their World's Longest Backyard Slip N' Slide.

With 3 categories held – the longest, the fastest (over 100m) and expression session (stunts tricks, fancy dress etc).

Jay Walkerden, Nova Brissy's PD, says:

"We broke a record for the fastest over 100 metres. It was 30 seconds, we smashed it in 9.33 seconds, faster than Usain bolt !!!"

They often reached speeds of over 40km/h while going down the 280m long slide.
