Paul Jackson: “We’re delighted to welcome Jodie to the Nova family”

Staff Writer

NOVA Entertainment has announced the appointment of Jodie Williams as its music director for Nova 96.9 Sydney.

Williams joins the Nova Network from 949 Power FM in Nowra NSW, where she held the dual role of MD and announcer for over 12 months.

Previously she was music director and announcer at Zoo FM/2DU in Dubbo, and prior to that, held multiple roles, including announcer, at 2LM/ZZZFM in Lismore.

Paul Jackson, NOVA Entertainment’s group PD said, “We’re delighted to welcome Jodie to the Nova family. She joins a strong programming group around the country and I’m sure she’ll be a great addition to the team.”

Reporting to Jackson from 22 May, Williams will work alongside Scott Baker-Smith, the Nova Network’s head of music.

She replaces Josh McCabe, who is returning to Perth to take up the role of MD for Nova 93.7.
