Nova 100’s Lauren and Clint pass Victoria Police entrance exam with flying colours

This morning on Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren, Clint Stanaway and Lauren Phillips discovered a surprise new calling … policing!

The pair took on the Victoria Police entrance exam and both passed with flying colours.

Unfortunately for fellow show host Jase Hawkins, it wasn’t such smooth sailing.

Regular guest Superintendent Wayne ‘Cheesy’ Cheesman broke the news that Jase didn’t quite make the cut and would need to re-sit the exam if he ever hopes to wear the uniform.

Cheesy: The host who probably could come in at Superintendent level would be Lauren Phillips.

Jase: Oh my God.

Lauren: Yes! Oh my God. My father-in-law would be so proud. How well did I do, Cheese?

Cheesy: In the oral assessment, you got 100%. Numeracy you got 83%. Abstract reasoning 94%

Lauren: I knew it! I said, I’m good at the abstract.

Cheesy: And digital literacy you got 86%. Clint could probably come in at Senior Sergeant rank. Clint did very well and we would accept him if he ever wanted to join. Unfortunately, Jase didn’t make it … had some problems with the numeracy.

Lauren: But if you think he’s got problem with the numeracy, wait till we get to the fitness test!

Jase & Lauren can be heard from 6am to 9am on Nova 100 in Melbourne. Listeners can stream the show live or catch up with the daily podcast by downloading the Nova Player.
