NFL scoop with Victorian Premier on Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren

Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren landed themselves quite the scoop this morning.

Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan joined Jase Hawkins, Lauren Phillips and Clint Stanaway in the studio to confirm NFL football is heading to Melbourne, with the LA Rams to play a regular season game at the MCG.

“This makes Melbourne the only city in the world to have a tennis Grand Slam, a Formula One Grand Prix, and now an NFL regular season game,” The Premier said. “Think of all of our hospo venues, the restaurants, the bars, the hotels, the joints going to be packed out. It’s a big win for our community.”

When quizzed by Lauren, the Premier admitted she herself hasn’t seen an NFL game.

“Oh, well, I’ve had glimpses Lauren, I’ve had glimpses … well, I know that the Kansas City, the Kansas City Chiefs, are actually based in Missouri. So, you know, got a little bit of NFL knowledge!”
