Are you the next Marc Fennell?

Following the announcement of the departure of triple j’s beloved “Movie Guy” Marc Fennell, the station is on the hunt for a worthy replacement.

The youth broadcaster is beginning a nationwide search for a guest presenter who can chat to Australia about what they’re watching.

The paid gig is open to people in all parts of Australia. To enter, you’ll need to fill out the form and review a maximum of three films, TV series and or web series hand-picked by Fennell. They are:

• The Room
• Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace
• 13 Reasons Why [Netflix]
• Donnie Darko
• Paul Blart: MallCop
• The Get Down [Netflix]
• You Can’t Ask That [ABC iView]
• Lala Land
• The Castle
• Get Out

The station will pick the five best submissions and put them to air for audience feedback, before making someone’s literal dreams come true.

The winner will have some big shoes to fill – Fennell’s eleven-year stint with triple j has seen him review a whopping 724 movies and give out a collective 2,352 stars.
