New York Radio Awards Winners

The New York Festival’s International Radio Program Awards has seen a number of locals recognised on the world stage.

SBS Radio received a Gold Radio Award for their human interest story “Blackmailed”. The ABC secured a Silver Radio Award for their social issues piece “Inside Out” and Community station Bay FM 99.9 was a Bronze Radio Winner for “Memories of Sarajevo”.

From New Zealand both Radio New Zealand and the Christian Broadcasting Association were honoured. Radio New Zealand a Silver for their arts piece “Crime Scene” and CBA a Gold for their Best Children/Young Adult Program “The Crazy Kiwi Christmas Kids Show”.
