New role for Greg Byrnes under leadership changes at Nine Radio

Nine Radio’s Head of Content Greg Byrnes will transition into a new role as 2GB Sydney’s Station Manager and National Content Manager, as part of a revamped leadership structure.
To further boost the company’s ‘live and local’ approach, Luke Davis will take on the role of 2GB Promotions and Community Manager.
In Melbourne, Chelsea Barrett has been appointed 3AW’s Promotions and Community Manager.
Nine Radio will also recruit new Promotions and Community Managers for Brisbane’s 4BC and Perth’s 6PR.
Feels like a demotion.
@Michael B – From Head of Content to National Content Manager.. sounds more like a title change with added responsibilities as 2GB Station Manager to me – hardly a demotion.
