New hires for KIIS Music Hub

Two new team members have joined the recently formed KIIS Music Hub, with both Mathew ‘Eggo’ Eggleston and Alex Louran taking on Music Scheduler roles within the hub.

With 27 years of radio experience between them, the pair has a wealth of knowledge in the realms of music, content and operations acquired through various roles across the country, along with a deep familiarity with Zetta and GSelector operating systems.

Louran started his career at C91.3 Campbelltown, on-air and producing for Mike Goldman.

After honing his skills at AFTRS, he quickly landed a dream gig at 2DayFM, working across music, announcing and the then Breakfast show Kyle & Jackie O.

He’s since followed them to KIIS Sydney, led operations at KIIS Melbourne, had two years of technical work at RCS Australia and most recently returned to 2DayFM as Operations Manager for the Hit Network metro stations.

After starting his radio career in his hometown of Newcastle, Eggleston has worked in almost every metro market in Australia including Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane in both Music and Content Director roles.

KIIS Network Music Director Brad McNicol says “I’m thrilled to welcome Eggo & Alex to KIIS! Both are exceptional additions to the team and we’re looking forward to what promises to be an exciting time working together to execute the KIIS music strategy.”

The KIIS Music Hub was announced earlier this month and is led by McNicol. The hub is responsible for all music scheduling for the KIIS Network plus KIIS-aligned DAB/iHeart stations.
