New GM for 7HO FM

Industry veteran Steve White has been appointed as General Manager of 7HO FM in Hobart.

Most recently, White has been Network Promotions Manager for Macquarie Radio in Sydney working on 2CH and 2GB, and he spent a number of years prior to that at Sea FM and Mix FM on the Sunshine Coast.

Hobart is a competitive market with Grant Broadcasters operating 7HO FM, and Southern Cross Austereo operating Sea FM and Heart. The market was 'infamously' surveyed last year by Nielsen, and the results scrapped before release due to sampling errors.

There is no confirmation at this point of a rescheduled survey.
