New Chapter for The Radio Bureau

Following the departure of Gill Stewart as GM a few weeks back. Both MediaWorks and NZME have confirmed that “the future of The Radio Bureau remains solid and secure”.

Managing Director NZME Radio Dean Buchanan and CEO MediaWorks Radio Wendy Palmer (also TRB Chair) have said:

“We have agreed on a structure that is best suited to the current and future needs of our evolving industry, and the TRB team is informed and excited by the challenges and opportunities ahead. 

“This is the start of an exciting new chapter for The Radio Bureau.”

Peter Richardson, who has been appointed Acting GM of The Radio Bureau has said: “TRB has an important job to do for the radio industry. 

“I am working with the senior account directors and planners to ensure TRB continues to deliver industry-wide planning solutions with the high levels of service our agency clients expect.”

The Radio Bureau in New Zealand is a JV between MediaWorks, NZME and independent radio stations to represent all on the sales and planning front.
