New beginnings: Tamworth’s radio frequency switch in the Liverpool Plains

In a celebration of new beginnings, Tamworth Broadcast Services, 88.9fm and 96.3fm today switched the frequency from 96.3fm to 99.5fm for the Liverpool Plains.

The A.C.M.A required the change due to the AM station eventually moving to FM.

A bumper crowd attended a 2-hour free breakfast and Macca broadcast his 9am to 12 noon show live from Quirindi, supported by the Liverpool Plains Shire Council and sponsors.

A new station Jingle package ‘Turn the Radio On’ was launched as part of the celebrations.
